Anthony Nesossis – aka DJ Panamanian Gringo – Has opened for artists such as Luke Slater, Roger Sanchez and KRS-One. He has been a resident underground DJ at such venues as Blue Lounge in Miami Beach and his music has been featured in independent films. He has collaborated with a range of global brands, including Abercrombie & Fitch and WISH Clothing Atlanta to provide the musical backdrop for their public and private events.
Anthony has been a guest DJ at WREK 91.1 FM Georgia Tech and WOBN 97.5 FM Otterbein University. When not making his own music or creating DJ mixes of other artists's tracks, Anthony manages Second Sight Recordings, an American record label creating & supporting EDM, Hip-Hop and Experimental music.
Adopting an early appreciation for music and graphic design while flipping through his parent’s vinyl collection, at age 7 he purchased his first vinyl record. At 10 years, he learned how to play the violin and at 16 purchased his first electric guitar. At 17 he purchased his first set of turntables and mixer, fueling his DJ career.
Early influences include DJs Ivan G, Little Louie Vega, Scott Henry, Charles Feelgood, Danny Tenaglia, Terrence Parker, Hernan Cattaneo, Roger Sanchez, Paul Johnson and Derrick Carter. Destinations like The Vault (aka Fifth Colvmn spelled with a V) in Washington D.C., Fever in Baltimore and Blue Lounge in South Beach, along with rave events on the East Coast and Midwest, fueled his interests that eventually turned into a life long passion.
